What Kind of Healthcare is for YOU?

The best healthcare is the one you begin by saying "yes" to creating your own. Preventative and holistic balanced with western medicine can be a wonderful start. Love yourself enough to evaluate what you would like and what you will commit to. Then have fun educating and discovering what your body loves. Congratulations. You have the beginning of a healthy life.

GREEN HEALTH

YES, it is time. Time to allow the green of the earth to reach the cells of your body.

Holistic health is the perfect balance of your medical world. How many times have you heard your doctor say..."I don't know what it is".

How many times has a condition you have all of a sudden exacerbate?

Suggestion...go green. Green with your household cleaners that will reduce your asthma symptoms.
Green with the natural supplementation of your nutrients. Green with the kind of air you breathe.

It's such a natural thing to do....breathe... and have a green environment to make sure the air you breathe is not toxic, and the food supplementation you put in your body is going to your cells...not down the toilet.

Try it. Use green cleaning products for a month...ones that are really green...read the label.
Then the next month, walk down the laundry isle in your local grocery store. What do you smell?
Do you catch your breath with the chlorine?

It's all to encourage the best health for you. Create the best healthcare plan. Own it. It'll be cheaper than missing work or going to the hospital for a preventable event.

My wish for you this year....Good Health....Peace....Love and Joy in your world.

Happy New Year

HEALTH-N-A-MINUTE

February is traditionaly heart month. We think of our physical heart most often when we think of heart health. I trust that all of your regularly have our cholesterol and blood pressure checked. What about the other part of your heart, the unseen? There was a commercial on the Super Bowl that showed a woman at her computer and suddenly her heart burst out her chest leaving a hole and a tattered shirt. Her physical heart landed on the keypad! Suddenly, it sprouted legs and jumped off her desk and ran to her boss's office. There it jumped up on his desk with a sign reading "I Quit". Jumping down and running away the caption read..."Follow Your Heart". What an incredible depiction of a "healthy heart," the unseen part. What does your heart of hearts feel and do? Are you following your dreams, your deepest heart's desire? What makes your heart beat with a rhythm that only you can dance to? Take a moment in the quiet...take a minute each day. Listen to the beating of your heart of hearts...then take your ind, take your spirit, and take your body to dance into action. Come to the quiet and you willhear wht your heart is speaking. Feel the love it has for you.

HEALTH-N-A-MINUTE

Did you take a walk today? Yes, it takes more than a minute to do an aerobic walk, 20 minutes to be exact. However long you did walk, there is a minute way to maximize the total experience in your spirit, mind and body. Many of us might take our ipods, cds, or our voices to listen or sing a song while we pound the earth. We get in the rhythm of the music or spoken words of motivators dear to our hearts. It passes time and gives us some soul food. Here's a suggestion that can be added to your pleasures of a walk in the park.
Start with a deep breath raising your arms to the sky and back down maximizing the volume of air you take in and let out. As you start your pace keep your inner ears open, use your eyes to look at undiscovered nature even if it s a pebble or a single blade of grass. Listen to the harmonious sounds of nature. Listen to the miracle of every breath as your lungs expand and relax. Feel the muscles in your body stretch and take in all the rich nutrients you give them while walking. Smell the grass, the flowers or hear the crunch of snow under your feet. Look up into the beautiful sky bringing your total experience of living into the moment. Touch it, lifting your arms way up bringing in more rich oxygen into all the cells of your body. Wow...you've just detoxed your body of some unwanted carbon dioxide! The connection of your circulatory system and your respiratory system is responsible of resupplying all body cells with essential oxygen and removing the unwanted, potentially harmful CO2. Your 5 senses give the gift of knowing that everything about you and your world is special.
Put it all together...yes...we have a wonderful life. I'm glad you're here.

Breathe in Your Life

Take a deep breath. There...you just lived a positive moment.
How many of those breaths do you take in a day. Let's do the math together. The average of 20 breaths per minute we take so that means 1,200 breaths per hour. Wow...that means I have 28,800 possible, positive moments in the day. You see it is imposible to think a negative thought when you take a deep breath. What if I took an extra one now and then. Would that make a difference in my life. Of course it would because we center ourselves by the breath of life. We create our life by the breaths we breathe. Why...because it is exchanging fresh air into every living cell of our body with the old. Ok, let's try this exercise along with the breaths. Every time you take a breath see how many times you can give yourself a pat on the back or a positive affirmation. Do you think you could create a happier life? I know the answer. Why don't you give it a try and write it down in a journal. Maybe it would be the next best seller.
